Vault Keys (also known as Vault Collectibles or Vault Tokens) are special tokens which are obtained by completing secret levels in Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko. These levels are located through out the different hub areas of the Gex Cave, and require the player to collect 50 Fly Coins before allowing access to the Vault Key. Each key consists of the following: a Shield, Skull, Star and a Radioactive Trefoil. Once all four Vault Keys have been collected, the Gex Vault is unlocked. This allows the player to input codes obtained from completing bonus levels.
