VCR Tape

The VCR Tape is a secret collectible found in Gex. It can be obtained by collecting it in a level or defeating a boss. Collecting a tape allows the player to receive a password that can be used to save their progress. The password will be viewable upon completion of a level or boss fight. Once the player has exited the level, the VCR tape label will appear on screen and display the password. If the player turns off their game and wishes to pickup where they left off, they can input the password at the title screen and start the game to resume their progress. Also, it can be collected in the final level in Planet X, Clothesline which unlocks the secret ending for the game.
