Super Gecko!
Super Geckos are enemies found in the Pow! level of New Toonland in Gex. They were strong geckos wearing superhero outfits and could fly.
Design and inspiration[]
Super Geckos wear a blue suit and a red cloak, and outfit obviously inspired by DC Comics' Superman. Unlike Superman, they also wear a red bandana-like mask that covers only their eyes.
Behaviour and strategy[]
Super Geckos are able to fly and usually follow a set route from left to right, but can change directions and pursue the player mid-flight in order to attack them with a punch, accelerating as they do so. This attack is performed diagonally.
