Realtime Associates, Inc. is American videogame developer based El Segundo, California and was founded in 1986 by David Warhol and a group of ex-Mattel Electronics employees. They originally created games for the Intellivison and edutainment games for systems such as LeapFrog aimed for children. The company is mainly responisible for making ports of licensed games for Sony PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, Sega Saturn, PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Sega Pico, Nintendo Entertainment System, TurboGrafx-16, Game Boy, Sega Game Gear, Game Boy Color, and PC and Macintosh platforms. They will go on to develop Nintendo 64 port of second entry in the Gex trilogy titled Gex 64: Enter The Gecko which will include the exclusive level Sea Span.

Despite making a lot of ports of licensed games, they will also develop their own 3D platformer series, Bug! and its sequel for the Sega Saturn. The company would develop over 90 games for the various systems during the following years.
