Purple Mushroom as it appears in Out of Toon.
Purple Mushrooms are mission-based items which make an appearance in Gex: Enter The Gecko primarily in the Toon TV themed level, Out of Toon. These are involved in a mission, in which the player has to whack five mushrooms that are hidden throughout the level. These mushrooms can be destroyed with using the tail whip, karate kick and the tail bounce. Unlike most mission-based items, the purple mushrooms drop extra collectables items upon destruction. Therefore, can contribute obtaining a Silver Reward Remote.
