Checkpoint TV in Enter the Gecko

In Gex: Enter The Gecko and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko, Gex will find small TV sets in every level. To get the power-up, Gex must whip the TV to release the fly inside. Then Gex can eat the fly and get a power-up. If Gex hasn't eaten the fly of any type, it can act as an extra point when he comes into contact with enemies.

Some of the TV sets have a checkered screen. These are used for check-points. Whip them and a flash of light will shine and the word check-point will appear. If Gex dies and the player loses a life, he will teleport to that checkpoint.

Green Fly	Gives Gex one health point. Sometimes, grants an extra life.
Purple Fly	Grants one extra-life
Blue Fly	Grants Gex with ability to use ice for certain period of time, freezing enemies in place and allowing Gex to use them as platforms or kill them with his tail whip. In Enter the Gecko, Gex can create a trail of ice which can circle around group of enemies instantly freezing them. In Deep Cover Gecko, Gex can hurl ice balls at enemies. In this game it appears exclusively in Mythology Network, due to its effectiveness with the Trojan Skeletons.
Red Fly TV in Enter the Gecko Red Fly	Grants Gex with ability to use fire for certain period of time. In Enter the Gecko, Gex can create a trail of fire which can circle around group of enemies instantly killing them. In Deep Cover Gecko, Gex can hurl fire balls at enemies killing them. In some cases, can be only method as to killing certain enemies. In Gangster TV this can help destroy gate and door locks
Green Slime TV in Deep Cover Gecko. Green Slime	Grants Gex with ability to use slime for certain period of time. Only used on the window washers in Superhero Show and in the final battle with Rez. Only appears in Deep Cover Gecko.

Blue Fly	Appearing exclusively in Gex 3: Deep Pocket Gecko, it grants the ability of super tail whip which enables Gex to take on tougher enemies which would take a few more hits to kill without it. They generally appear in the later levels of the game.
