An Octopus
Octopi are enemies found in underwater parts of Kung Fuville in Gex.
Design and inspiration[]
The Octopus enemy is based on real world octopi. Considering the Japanese and Chinese theming of this world, the Octopi is likely included because of its significance to Asian culture regarding marine life, like the Electric Eel and Porcufish.
Behaviour and strategy[]
Octopi will swim back and forth in a set patrol route, damaging the player if coming into contact with them. Octopi also are able to eject ink which is harmful. They can only be killed if they are frozen.
