Eidos Interactive is an British video game publishing company, which was founded in 1984 by Mark Strachan and Dominic Wheatley under the name, Domark Limited. The company will be based United Kindgom. Due to a merger with Eidos plc, Sims and Big Red Software in 1995 for a total of £12.9 million. This would result in the company becoming current division it is today. They would go on to publish multiple games. This included properites owned by Crystal Dynamics, mainly Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko, Akuji The Heartless, Soul Reaver and the Tomb Raider series.

Throughout its lifetime, it would get acquired by many different companies, being acquired by SCi Games from 2005 to 2009. Before being acquired by parent company, Square Enix in 2009. After being absorbed into the company, it would be rebranded into Square Enix Europe as a part of their western division.
