Dial "A" for Arson is a secret level in Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko. It can be found by hitting the three supercomputers in Mission Control, opening up a secret passage to the level. This is where Gex is a firefighter. It takes place in a city reminiscent of city-based dramas or, given Gex's firefighter costume, films and TV series about emergency services like Chicago Fire. Collecting all 50 Fly Coins in time rewards you with a Vault Key which resembles a police shield for the Vault in Mission Control. A Lost Gex Tape can also be found here.
To find the Lost Gex Tape, go through a crack near the billboard on the right.
Strategy[]
The strategy for this secret stage is deceptively simple. At the start, head for the thingy that makes Gex bounce and collect the fly coins. However, there is a hole in the wall nearby that Gex can enter that leads to the Lost Gex Tape. Quickly exit the chamber with the tape and collect the fly coins at ground level. There is a vending machine and a hot dog stand that Gex can tail whip to collect fly coins. Once the coins are collected, head up to the upper levels, hitting the pigeons up there to make them drop fly coins. There is a railroad with a train that Gex must avoid. There also happens to be a fly coin in the middle of the railroad. As soon as the train passes, make a mad dash for the other side of the railroad and collect the fly coin before the train comes back, then collect the rest of the fly coins on your way back to the start. By the time the player does this, all of the fly coins should be collected. The badge will appear in front of the large billboard. Simply walk up to the badge and collect it, finishing the stage.
