Requires A Rework.

This article could use some revising. You can contribute by adding more content, fixing grammatical errors and making it more feature complete.

Cheesy Rider is a secret level in Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko. It can be found not too far from Gangster TV in Funky Town; it's just outside to the left of that level's entrance. Gex dresses up as a lifeguard here as it is set around an oily beachside with a lot of pollution. Collecting all 50 Fly Coins in time rewards you with the nuclear energy symbol token for the Vault in Mission Control.

Trivia[]

  • In the prototype version, upon entering the level. You play as Cuz opposed to wearing the lifeguard outfit like in the final build. This implies that during development, Cuz was initially one of Gex's outfits instead of a playable character.
  • This level shares the same music with Fairytales TV, which in turn is also used in the bonus level, Marsupial Madness. The N64 version however uses the game's boss theme instead.
  • It's the only secret level where enemies are present.
  • Cheesy Rider is the only secret level in the PlayStation version that has no Lost Gex Tape.
